What is a Giclée Print?
Many people ask what is a Giclée print versus a lithograph print?
Giclée is a fairly new name from the late 20th Century for large format, high resolution, fine art printing with superior industrial ink jet printers using a roll of archival quality paper and fade resistant inks. The prohibitive cost of materials means they are ten times the cost of a litho to produce.
All the prints in this series are printed in this style with specific emphasis on colour correction and proofing using the same heavy 308gsm Photo Rag 100% Cotton paper. This paper stock really soaks up the ink so creating an image of real depth for two dimensions.
We are proud of the exceptional quality of our prints produced in collaboration with our sister company MJCP who have been offering high quality creative print in London since 1995.
All prints are printed to order so please allow two weeks between order and delivery. The aim is for you to receive as soon as possible.
All Giclée prints are flat packed for preservation.
